- 1 flank steak (2 lbs.)
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup lemon
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon basil

| Score steak diagonally
across the grain at 3/4" intervals. Place steak in a ziplock
bag or shallow dish. Combine oil and remaining ingredients in
a small bowl. Pour marinade over steak. Seal or cover and refrigerate
for 8 hours. |

| Preheat grill on
MEDIUM. Grill steak 6-8 minutes on each side with the lid open.
Baste the last 4 minutes with the remaining marinade to ensure
tenderness. |
