Sirloin-Vegetable Kabobs
 
  • 1/2 cup dry sherry
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1" cubes
  • 2 small purple onions, cut into eighths
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushroom caps
  • 2 green peppers, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 small pineapple, cut into 1 inch pieces
 
Combine first 5 ingredients in a ziplock bag, add beef and marinate in refrigerator for 2 hours.
 
Alternately thread beef, onion, mushroom, pepper and pineapple onto skewers.
 
Grill on MEDIUM for 10-15 minutes, turning and basting occasionally with marinade.
